In 5-Channel configurations, all available machines are configured for surround or other multi-channel uses. For one configuration (Fig. 4-7), one machine is configured as 5-in/5-out, the other as 2-in/5-out, both

sharing the same output channels. On the display, the output paths of the two machines are colored differently for easier visualization.
