Using SMS TextMessaging

With SMS TextMessaging, you can send instanttext

messages from your phone to other people's messaging-

ready wireless phones -- and they can send messages to you.

When you receive a new message, itwill automatically be

displayed on your phone’s screen.

In addition, SMS TextMessaging includes a variety of preset

messages, such as “I’m running late, I’m on my way,”that

make composing messages fastand easy. You can also

customize your own presetmessages (up to 160 characters)

from your phone.

Composing SMS TextMessages

To compose an SMS Textmessage using the TEXT key:

1. Press the key.

2. Contacts are displayed. (If there are no contacts, make a

new entry and save it.)

3. Selectthe desired contact and press .

4. Compose a textmessage.
