Using the Main Menu

Restoring to Factory DefaultSettings

Restoring to factory default settings reverts any setting changes you have made to their original settings. This does not affect the recordings saved on the DVR. You can reset a single menu, or all menus.

To load system defaults:

1Right-click to open the Menu Bar and click the Main Menu button ().

2Click Advanced. Then click Load Default.

3Select the menus that you wish to restore to default settings, or click All to restore the entire system to default settings.

7Right-click until you have exited all menus. The DVR prompts you to restart.

Restarting or Shutting Down theDVRTo restart or shut down the DVR:

1Right-click to open the Menu Bar and click the Main Menu button ().

2Click Advanced.3Click Reboot or Shut Down.

4Click Apply.

5When the warning window appears, click OK to restore your settings.

6Click OK to return to the menu.

4Follow the on-screen instructions to restart or shut down your system.

Configuring System Warnings

The system can send out email notifications, or trigger a connected alarm device if it detects system abnormalities.Forexample,thesystem can send out a warning if the hard drive is low on storage.
