Using Features

There are two ways to use a feature:

•Directly, as explained below

•By pressing a line button you programmed with the feature (see Programming Buttons & Settings, p. 31)

To use a Directory of numbers, Messages and Posted Messages, display screen contrast setting (MLX-28D telephone), Alarm Clock, or Timer:

1.Press the Menu button.

3.Respond to display prompts, if necessary.

4.Press the Exit (Home on MLX telephones) button to exit at any time.

To use a feature from the Feature Codes list:

1.Press the Feature button.

2.Do one of the following:

•Select the feature from the display.

•Dial the feature code from the Feature Codes list.

Note: Some features can only be used by entering a code (see the Feature Codes list below).

3.Press the Exit (Home on MLX telephones) button to exit at any time.
