●Highlight Subtitles in the Playback options menu, and press Enter.

The Subtitle language menu is displayed:

●Press <, >, A, or V to highlight the language you want to use, and press Enter.

Alternatively, select Auto to automatically display subtitles in the specified audio language if no soundtrack is available for that language.

To select the disc menu language

The 596 DVD Player allows you to choose the language for the disc menus.

●Highlight Menu in the Playback options menu and press Enter.

The Menu language menu is displayed:

●Use A or V to highlight the language you want to use, and press Enter.
