Miele{home
Before your appliance can be used with Mielehome you need to install a Mielehome communication module.
Installing and logging onto Miele{home
^Disconnect the appliance from the mains electricity supply.
^Unscrew the screws used for securing the appliance into the sides of the housing unit.
^Pull the appliance out of the housing unit until the shaft, in which the Mielehome communication module is fitted, is accessible.
^Insert the Mielehome communication module.
^Push the appliance back into the housing unit and secure it.
^Reconnect the appliance to the mains electricity supply.
After a period of about 60 seconds you will be able to sign on to the Mielehome system.
Instructions on how to do this are given in the separate instructions supplied with the Mielehome system.
^Switch on the Mielehome system.
^Switch the appliance on and call up the "Settings J" menu.
"Mielehome" will now appear as an option.
^Confirm this option to sign on.
The signing on procedure will then commence. It can be followed in the display. It will take a few minutes. As soon as it has finished the message "Sign on successful" will appear in the display.
Once you are successfully signed on you can use the Mielehome system to call up information regarding your appliance, e. g. you can find out how a programmed cooking process is progressing.
An acoustic signal on your Mielehome system will let you know when, for instance, a programme has finished or when something needs to be done in an automatic programme such as adding water or ingredients.
If the sign on procedure does not work first time you should try again. If this does not solve the problem, call the Miele Service Department.
