RADIO CALLS

RECEIVING A SELECTIVE CALL F

When you receive a selective call:

•The LCD screen displays F and the prepro- grammed name or ID of the calling radio.

•The LED indicator flashes yellow, if pro- grammed by your dealer.

•You hear an alert tone.

To answer the call, press the PTT button.

Note: Unless you make a Selective Call back to the caller, your response is heard by all members of your talkgroup.

SENDING A CALL ALERT PAGE

You can alert another person by sending a Call Alert page.

To send a Call Alert page:

Press the preprogrammed Radio Call button (see page 11) and proceed to step 4

6mto locate the desired ID in the Radio Call List.

Enter the ID number of the radio you want to page.

7 Press the PTT.

You see:

Call In Prog

The prepro- grammed name

or ID is alternating on the LCD.

8If the Call Alert page is received,

You see:

Acknowledge

If not received,

1)to enter Menu Mode.
