Using Numeric Mode
When neither of these icons appear, letters typed are lowercase. Scrolling up after typing a letter makes that letter uppercase.
Note: Your phone automatically makes the first letter of a sentence uppercase.
Punctuation
Press 1 or 0 to insert punctuation. Continue to press the key to view the list of symbols available through that key. Pause to select the symbol you want.
Note: Additional punctuation symbols are available in Symbols mode.
Using Numeric Mode
1Select Numeric as your text input mode.
2Press the number buttons on your keypad to enter numbers.
Using Symbols Mode
1Select Symbols as your text input mode.
A row of symbols appears along the bottom of the phone’s display. Scroll right to view the complete row.
2Press O to select the highlighted symbol.
