3. Connect the connector of the Vehicle In-Motion Detector cable to either the COM1 or COM2 connector on the
back of the VC5090.
4. On the vehicle computer, tap > Settings > Control Panel > VC5090 System Management icon. The System
Management window displays.

5. Tap the Termina l Lock tab. The Terminal Lock Password window appears.

6. Enter the assigned password and tap OK. The default password is “vc5090”.
7. Select the Enable Terminal Locking check box.
