describesthe optional software and equipment, and explains how to unpack
the NI 6013/6014.
About the NI 6013/6014 Device
Thankyou for buying an NI 6013/6014. The NI 6014 features 16 channels
(eight differential)of 16-bi t analog input, two channels of 16-bit analog
output, a 68-pin connector,and eight lines of digital I/O. The NI 6 013 is
identical to the NI 6014, except that it does not have AO channels.
The NI 6013/6014 uses the NI data acquisition system timing controller
(DAQ-STC)for time-related functions. The DAQ-STC consists of three
timing groups that control AI, AO,and gener al-purpose counter/timer
functions. These groups include a total of seven 24-bit and three 16-bit
countersand a maximum timing resolution of 50 ns. The DAQ-STCmakes
possible suchapplications as buffered pulse generation, equivalent time
sampling,and seamless changing of the sampling rate.

To set up and use the device, you need the following items:
