2Remove the waste toner bottle.

"# The waste toner bottle

contains waste toner. Be

careful not to tilt the bottle

while removing it.

3Hold the waste toner bottle vertically,

and then plug the two openings with

the caps.

"# Place the removed waste toner bottle, with the openings facing up,

on a stable surface (not the printer).

4Pull out the laser lens cover.

"# The laser lens cover cannot be

removed. Do not pull it with too

much force.

5Wipe the surface of the laser lens cover

with a soft, dry cloth.
