6Attach the support wire for the duplex option to the printer.

aPull the right-side door release

lever, and open the right-side

door.

If you have lower feeder unit

attached, you first need to open

the lower right-side door.

bPull the tab for the support wire

on the right side of the duplex

option, and then hook the wire

onto the hook of the printer.

cClose the right-side door(s).

7Reconnect interface cable.

8Reconnect the power cord, and turn

on the printer.

9Check the configuration page from the

control panel (Special Pages/Print

Config Page menu) to verify the duplex option installation.

10 Configure your driver for the new duplex option (see Chapter 4).
