Command Enable/disable RIP receive function on PPP link
Description Specifies whether the Nokia M10 should use Routing
information protocol (RIP) broadcasts to update its rout-
ing tables with information received from other routers
on the other side of the specified ATM link using ppp-
vcmux encapsulation. RIP cannot be activated if ad-
dress mapping is ON.
Syntax set ip ip-ppp {vccx} rip-receive [off | v1 | v2 | v1-compat]
Arguments The first argument identifies the ATM channel (vccx, x =
1 ... 8). If there is only one ATM channel using ppp-
vcmux encapsulation you can leave the argument vccx
out. Both RIP version 1 and RIP version 2 functiona-
lities can be simultaneously activated. v1-compat
argument enables the receiving of both RIPv1 and
RIPv2 packets.
Example m10> set ip ip-ppp vccx rip-receive off
