comm <snmpCommunity number [1-16]>

The community table contains objects for mapping community strings and version-independent SNMP message parameters. To view menu options, see page 202.

taddr <snmpTargetAddr number [1-16]>

This command allows you to configure destination information, consisting of a transport domain and a transport address. This is also termed as transport endpoint. The SNMP MIB provides a mechanism for performing source address validation on incoming requests, and for selecting com- munity strings based on target addresses for outgoing notifications. To view menu options, see page 203.

tparam <target params index [1-16]>

This command allows you to configure SNMP parameters, consisting of message processing model, security model, security level, and security name information. There may be multiple trans- port endpoints associated with a particular set of SNMP parameters, or a particular transport end- point may be associated with several sets of SNMP parameters. To view menu options, see page 204.

notify <notify index [1-16]>

A notification application typically monitors a system for particular events or conditions, and gen- erates Notification-Class messages based on these events or conditions. To view menu options, see page 205.

v1v2 disableenable

This command allows you to enable or disable the access to SNMP version 1 and version 2. This command is enabled by default.

cur

Displays the current SNMPv3 configuration.
