gResizing Pictures: Small Picture

Create a small copy of the current picture. Small copies are stored as JPEG files with a compression ratio of 1:16. The following sizes are available.

Suited to television playback.

m320×240

Suited to display on web pages.

n160×120

Suitable for e-mail attachments.

1Select the desired picture from full-frame

(A28) or thumbnail (A51) playback mode and press d.

The playback menu is displayed.

Pictures can also be selected from thumbnail wheel playback mode (A52).

2 Use the multi selector to choose [Small pic.]

3 Choose the desired copy size and press k.

More on Playback

4Choose [Yes] and press k.

A new, smaller copy is created.

To cancel creating a small copy, choose [No]. The copy is displayed with a gray frame.
