Shooting in the Scene Mode

Use when shooting a series of pictures that will later be joined to form a single panorama using the supplied Panorama Maker software.

•Camera focuses on subject in center of frame.

Shooting Pictures for a Panorama

The camera focuses on the subject in the center of the frame. Use a tripod for best results. Turn vibration reduction (A128) off when using a tripod.

1Use the multi selector to choose [p

Panorama assist] in the scene menu and press k.

The yellow panorama direction icon (I) is displayed to show the direction in which pictures will be joined.

2 Use the multi selector to choose the direction
	p
and press k.
Select how pictures will be joined together in the
completed panorama; right (I), left (J), up (K) or down
(L).
The panorama direction icon (I) is displayed to the	F	1/125	F4.3	17
direction pressed and changes to white when kis
pressed. Apply flash mode (A30), self-timer (A32), focus mode (A33) and exposure
compensation (A34) settings with this step, if necessary. Press kto reselect the
direction.
3 Shoot the first picture.
