Customizing the Function Settings

Setting the parental lock level

The PDR-155 enables you to activate Parental Lock if a parental lock level is recorded on the disc. With such discs, you can block access to the material you feel is inappropriate for your chil- dren. Refer to the DVD jacket and the accompanying documentation to see if a particular disc contains a parental lock level. For example, if you set the PDR-155 to level 6, you will need to enter a password to play level 7 or level 8 discs. Refer to page 99 for more information on using the Setup window.

Write down your password so you will not forget.

If you forget the password, restore the factory settings (page 118), then register the pass- word again.
