When the screen saver appears:
If a disc remains paused for a certain period of time, a screen saver appears. (Alternatively, you can program the unit to disable the screen saver (page 103).) Press or

This also applies to CD playback. If CD playback is paused for a certain period of time, the screen saver appears on screen. Press or
to resume playback.

For DVDs or video CDs, the unit displays “RESUME,” and the stop position is memorized (Resume function). This function is unavailable with MP3s and CDs.
Resuming playback from the stop position

Stop playback and press again. Alternatively, eject the disc.

•If you want to remove the disc but still want to resume playback from the last stopped posi- tion, use the LAST MEMORY feature instead (page 65).
