Only the remote controller buttons are used in this procedure. First select the preset station you wish to name.

Select a character.
Press / to select a character.
Press ENTER to enter the character.
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to enter up to eight char- acters.
Tip
• If you wish to leave the name blank, press ENTER while no character is displayed.

DISPLAY
Press and hold down DISPLAY (for three seconds) to store the name.
When you enter eight characters, the naming operation is automatically complete.
•You can’t name a preset that’s tuned to an RDS station broadcasting PS (Program Service Name) information. (See page 82 for more information on RDS stations.)
Only European models support RDS, and only in areas where RDS is used.
