Memorizing the DVD settings DVD

The PDR-155 can memorize the settings for up to 15 of your favorite DVDs. The memorized settings remain in memory even if you remove the disc from the player, or place the unit in power standby mode.

The unit displays “Condition Memory.” The following six settings are memorized:

On-screen display position (page 107)

Picture quality adjustment (pages 104–106)

Camera angle (page 63)

Voice-over language (page 108)

Subtitle language (page 108)

Parental Lock Level (page 112)

When you insert a disc for which the settings have been memorized, the unit displays “Condition Memory” and automatically uses the stored settings. When the unit reads the disc, it displays “COND_MEM.”

Erasing Condition Memory

1Press SHIFT, then press COND.M within 10 seconds. The unit displays “Condition Memory.”

2Press CLEAR while “Condition Memory” is being displayed.

Notes

The Condition Memory function may not work with some DVDs.

The settings are stored in memory for use at any time.

You can use Condition Memory for up to 15 discs. (After that, the one used least recently is deleted to make space for a new one).

With some discs, the DVD settings may automatically be reset to the default settings.

If you make changes to any of the settings memorized in Condition Memory, press COND. M during playback to edit the settings.
