About the title menu * DVD VCD
DVD videos and video CDs with the PBC (Playback Control) function (see “About video CDs” on page 12) enable you to select a title or chapter (see “Differences in disc composition” on page 13) from title menu. To display the title menu, press RECEIVER, then press TOP MENU. If the menu does not appear, press MENU. Some discs do not include a title menu.
To start playback without displaying the menu screen (without engaging the PBC function),
while the unit is stopped, press

repeatedly to select the desired track. Alternatively, press RECEIVER, then press the number buttons.
If the unit has displayed a menu on TV during DVD video playback, press RECEIVER, then use 
/

to select and set the desired items, then press ENTER to confirm the setting. If the unit has displayed a menu on TV during video CD playback, press RECEIVER, then press the number buttons to select and set the desired item.
The operation may vary depending on the disc. Follow the instructions on the disc.
*Some discs may have different names for the disc menu or the title menu. On some discs, the main menu sometimes includes the disc menu and/or the title menu.
