Tips

Press and hold STEP/SLOW + on the remote controller.

The unit displays “1/16.” Slow playback continues even after you release the button.

Changing the slow motion speed

During slow playback, press STEP/SLOW +.

The speed changes as follows each time you press the button. 1/16 ➔ 1/8 ➔ 1/4 ➔ 1/2 ➔ 1/16

Slow reverse playback

Press and hold STEP/SLOW –.

You cannot use slow reverse playback with video CDs.

Changing the slow reverse playback

During slow playback, press STEP/SLOW –.

The speed toggles between Slow 1 and Slow 2 each time you press the button.

Resuming normal playback

Press .

•While a DVD is stopped, pressing or resumes playback from the top of the title.

•No audio is output during still image, frame-by-frame, or slow playback.

•If a still image is blurred, set “Still Picture” in the default setting window to “Field” (page 107).

•Images may be shaky on some discs during reverse frame playback.

•Still image, frame-by-frame, or slow playback may not be available on some discs. In this case,

the unit displays the or mark on screen.
