Using Headphones

You can connect a pair of stereo headphones (1/4-inch phone plug) to the TX-L55’s PHONES jack for private listening, as shown.

Notes:

Always turn down the volume before connecting your headphones.

The speakers are turned off while the headphones plug is inserted in the PHONES jack.

When you connect a pair of headphones, the listening mode is set to Stereo, unless it’s already set to Stereo or Direct. When you disconnect the headphones, the previous listening mode is resumed.

When the DVD multichannel input is selected, only the front left and front right audio can be heard in the headphones.
