Audio Connections

These connections will allow you to listen to audio from your TV via the TX-L55.

If your TV has no audio outputs, connect the TX-L55 to your VCR and use its tuner (see page 24).

Note:

Initially, the OPT 1 digital input is assigned to the TV input source. If you connect to a different digital audio input or only to an analog input, you’ll need to assign it to the TV input source (see page 31).

Using a Coaxial or Optical Connection

Use an optical digital audio cable to connect the TX-L55’s OPT 1 DIGITAL INPUT to the optical output on your TV, as shown.
