Xn — Extended Result Codes

Parameters

0, 1, 2, 3, or 4

Default4

Determines whether the modem responds to dial tone and busy signals, and how it displays result codes for CONNECT messages. When the modem ignores dial tone, it waits for a time delay given by register S6 (default = 2 seconds) and then dials regardless of presence or absence of dial tone; this is called blind dialling.
