Preparation

Save the data and close all applications.

Open the cover and confirm the SD Memory Card indicator is off.

1Disable the card function.

AClick on the notification area and click .

BSelect the card.

ADouble-click on the notification area and click [Secure Digital Storage

Device], then click [Stop].

BFollow the on-screen instructions.

These steps are not necessary when removing the card after turning off the co mputer.

2Remove the card.

APress the card so it comes out of the slot.

BDraw it straight out.
