Disabling/Enabling Wireless Communication
<Only for model with wireless LAN, wireless WAN, and/or Bluetooth>
There are several ways of disabling and enabling wireless communication.
The wireless switch on the left side of the computer (below)
Wireless Switch Utility (page 76)
Settings in the [Advanced] menu of the Setup Utility (page 94)
Setting in the Wireless Connection Disable Utility (page 77)
Settings in the Network and Sharing Center (page 80)

The wireless communication can be enabled or disabled by connecting or disconnecting the LAN cable. (page 77)
To disable all wireless communication
1Slide the latch (A), open the cover and slide the switch (B) to OFF.
To enable wireless communication
1Slide the latch (A), open the cover and slide the switch (B) to ON.
In the default setting, the wireless switch enables all wireless devices when i t is
set to ON.
To check the wireless communication status
1Click on the notification area and place the cursor over the Wireless Switch Utility
icon ( or ).
A tool tip appears.
