Battery Status
Use the Battery Indicator (
) to Check on the Battery Status

NOTE
When the battery indicator remains red (or a 99% reading is displayed) for an extended period of time, the actual remaining battery level and the displayed level may differ. Should this occur, charge the battery until the indicator is green, then completely discharge the battery.
When the battery pack is not in the computer,

When the Remaining Battery Charge Becomes Low
save your data and power off your computer
Perform the following:
Plug in the AC adapter, and fully charge your battery.
Use a spare battery if you have one.
If you have neither the AC adapter nor an extra battery, power the computer off.
