Recording still pictures while recording motion pictures

Applicable modes:

Still pictures can be recorded even while recording a motion picture. (Simultaneous recording)

During motion picture recording, press the shutter button fully to record a still picture.

Simultaneous recording indicator A is displayed while recording still pictures.

Recording with the Touch Shutter function (P70) is also available.

Recording method for the still pictures taken while recording a motion picture can be set with [Picture Mode] in the [Motion Picture] menu.

The picture aspect ratio will be fixed to [16:9].

Simultaneous recording is not possible in the following cases:

When [Rec Format] is set to [VGA/30p] in [MP4]

When the [FHD/24p] is set [only when [ ] (still picture priorities) is set]

When [Ex. Tele Conv.] in the [Motion Picture] menu is set to [ON] [only when [ ] (still picture priorities) is set]
