Aperture-Priority AE mode (P84)

The shutter speed is automatically determined by the aperture value you set.

Shutter-Priority AE mode (P85)

The aperture value is automatically determined by the shutter speed you set.

Manual Exposure mode (P86)

The exposure is adjusted by the aperture value and the shutter speed which are manually adjusted.

Motion Picture P mode (P104)

Use this mode to record motion pictures with the desired settings.

Custom mode (P97)

Use this mode to take pictures with previously registered settings.

Scene mode (P89)

This allows you to take pictures that match the scene being recorded.

My Colour mode (P94)

Use this mode to check colouring effects, select a colour mode from among eight colour modes, and then take pictures.

Setting [AFS] or [AFC]

Press [AF/MF] to display the Focus mode.

AF/MF

Press [AF/MF] again to select either [AFS] or [AFC].

You can also set these modes using 2/1 or the rear dial.

Refer to page 46 for information about [AFS] and [AFC]. ([AFC] will not operate with certain lenses. Refer to page 15 for details.)

Press [MENU/SET] or the rear dial to set the menu.
