When a recorder or player etc. is operated with a remote control, the unit is also simultaneously operated.

When the unit’s remote control is operated, other Panasonic recorders or players etc. are also simultaneously operated.

≥This occurs between playlist chapters or scenes ([AVCHD]).

≥When playing a title recorded on both layers, the unit automatically switches between layers and plays the title in the same way as a normal program. However, video and audio may momentarily cut out when the unit is switching layers.

≥Ensure the disc is for the correct BD-Video region code or DVD-Video region number, and is not defective. (> cover)

≥You have set a ratings level to limit BD-Video or DVD-Video play. Change this setting. (> 32)

≥Some BD-Video can only be output with HDMI.

≥Confirm whether the disc supports picture-in-picture.

≥Confirm whether the disc supports BD-Live. (> 17)

≥The inserted SD card does not have sufficient available capacity. (> 17) ≥The SD card is write-protected. (> 7)

≥Sub contents copied to an SD card are provided by the disc producer as a part of the BD- Video content. Even if you record images and audio onto an SD card, it cannot be played as a BD-Live. (> 17)

≥The languages are not recorded on the media.

≥You may not be able to use the on-screen menu to change the soundtrack and subtitles on some discs. Use the disc’s menus to make changes. (> 14)

≥Subtitles are not recorded on the media.

≥Turn the subtitles on. Set “Subtitle” on the on-screen menu to “On”. (> 23) ≥When progressive output is on, closed captions cannot be displayed.

≥Angles can only be changed during scenes where different angles are recorded.

≥The memorized position is cleared in the following instances:

j[∫] is pressed several times.

jThe disc or SD card is removed.

jThe unit is turned off during CD or SD card playback.

jThe unit is turned off due to such occurrences as power outage, the removal of the AC adaptor or waste of the battery pack’s remaining power when the unit is turned on.

≥The resume play function may not work depending on the media.

[BD-V]: On BD-Video discs including BD-J, the resume play function does not work.

≥While the disc and SD card are removed, press and hold [SKIP :] and [SUB MENU ] on the unit at the same time for more than 5 seconds. Turn the unit off. “DVD-Video Ratings”, “BD-Video Ratings” and “Network Service” will return to the default settings.

≥Is the unit screen facing outward and closed? (> 10, 3 or 4 in “Installation of the unit”) The unit cannot be operated with the TV remote control in any other condition.

≥When using the unit with only the battery pack, operate after turning the unit on. (> 12)

≥Change the remote control codes on the Panasonic recorders or players.
