The title is entered and the screen disappears.

≥You can also finish entering the title by selecting “SET” and pressing [ENTER].

To end input midway

Press [RETURN] (does not save any title information).

Using the numbered buttons to enter characters

To erase a character

1Press [3, 4, 2, 1] to select the character you want to

erase in the title field.

2Press [;].

You can also erase characters by selecting “ERASE” and press- ing [ENTER].

[Note]

≥The full title is shown in the Properties screen (➜ page 34, 36 and 43), but if you enter a long title, only part of it is shown in the pro- gram list or play list screen.

≥If you enter a long title, only part of it is shown in the TOP MENU (➜ page 44) after finalization ([DVD-R]). When entering a program title, the title that will appear in the TOP MENU can be previewed in “Title on TOP MENU (DVD-R)” field.

≥Still picture folder titles

–Titles are saved in the “TITLE.DVD” folder and can only be dis- played on this unit.

–Input is not possible if the destination lacks sufficient space or has exceeded the maximum number of allowable files.

–The title may not appear correctly if input was done using other equipment.

≥You cannot input titles on a mobile hard disk.
