Changing the Security Codes

1From Idle mode press B 8 to enter the Security menu

2Use e to select Phone Lock, PIN or PIN2

3Use f until Change is displayed in main option area and press

B

4Enter the current code and press B

5Enter the new code and press B

6Verify the new code and press B

Restricting Calls

Call Barring

This function is SIM dependent. Call Bar is used to restrict certain outgoing and/or incoming calls. Call Bar is controlled by a security password supplied by your Service Provider. When updating or checking the status of Call Bar the phone must be registered with a network.

1From Idle mode press B 82 to enter the Call Bar menu and press B

2Use e to select the level of call barring that you want to apply and press B

3Enter Call Bar password and press B

Barred Dialling

This function is network dependent. Barred Dial enables you to bar all phone numbers pre-programmed in the SIM from being dialled on the phone. To use this function PIN2 is required.

From Idle mode press B 86 and press B to enable Barred Dial , enter PIN2 and press B
