Cell Broadcasts

Cellbroadcasts are network dependent, supplying general

informationsent to your phone by a network operator. The

informationcan include topics such as local traffic and weather

reports.

Setting Broadcast Topics

Youneed to specify the topic(s) of information to be received as

broadcastsbefore you can receive them.

1FromIdle mode press B 363to enter the Topics menu

2WhenInsert is displayed in the main option area press B

3Useeto cycle through the available topics and press Bto

insertthe selected topic into your broadcast list

Enabling/Disabling Broadcasts

FromIdle mode press B 361to enter the Receive

menuand press B

Onceenabled, follow the same procedure to disable broadcasts.

Message List

Thisis a store for the last received broadcast messages. Messages

canbe deleted from here.

Languages

Thisfunction is network dependent. The Languages in which

broadcastmessages are displayed can be changed.
