Programmable Settings

Selecting the Display Language

You can choose one of 18 display languages. The factory preset is French.

Make sure that the power is ON (p. 11) and the unit is in the standby mode.

2Press or until the arrow points to “Setting Handset”, then press .

3Press or until the arrow points to “Display Option”, then press .

4Press or until the arrow points to “Select Language”, then press .

•The current setting is at the arrow.

5Press or to select the desired language.

•A beep sounds.

•The display shows in the selected language.

Selecting the Auto Talk Feature

The Auto Talk feature allows you to answer a call by lifting the handset off the base unit without

pressing or . In order to view Caller ID information before answering a call, leave the auto talk feature OFF. If you want to use this feature, turn the feature ON by programming.

The factory preset is OFF.

Make sure that the power is ON (p. 11) and the unit is in the standby mode.
