Making Calls
1Press .
•The indicator lights.
2Dial a telephone number.
•If you misdial, press then dial
again.
3When the other party answers, talk into
the MIC.
4To hang up, press .
•The indicator light goes out.
•The base unit speaker phone cannot be used
while a handset is in use. Wait until the in use
indicator ( ) goes out.
With the Base Unit (Digital Speakerphone)

Speakerphone

The digital speakerphone enhances your telephone
conversation. For best performance, please note the
following.
•Talk alternately with the caller in a quiet
room.
•
If the other party has defficulty hearing you,
press to decrease the speaker volume.
•If the other party’s voice from the speaker
cuts in/out during a conversation, press
to decrease the speaker volume.

To mute your conversation

Press while talking.
•The mute indicator ( ) lights.
•The other party cannot hear your voice but
you can hear theirs.
•To resume the conversation, press
again.

To adjust the speaker volume

(8 levels)

To increase, press .
To decrease, press .

To redial the last number dialed on the

base unit
