Recording in Natural Colours

(White Balance)

Depending on the scene or light condition, the Automatic White Balance Adjustment Mode may not be able to bring out natural colours. (l26, 56) In such a case, the white balance can be adjusted manually.

1Press the [AUTO/MANUAL] Button to display the [MNL] Indication.

2Press the [PUSH] Dial.

The [AWB] Indication appears.

3Turn the [PUSH] Dial to set a desired White Balance Mode.

To Resume Automatic Adjustment

Turn the [PUSH] Dial until the [AWB] Indication appears. Or, press the [AUTO/MANUAL] Button to display the [AUTO] Indication.

Adjusting White Balance Manually

For light outside the functional Auto White Balance Adjustment range, use the Manual White Balance Adjustment Mode.

1Point the Movie Camera at a full-screen white subject.

2Press the [AUTO/MANUAL] Button to display the [MNL] Indication.

3Press the [PUSH] Dial.

The [AWB] Indication appears.

4Turn the [PUSH] Dial until the [1] Indication is displayed.

5Keep pressing [PUSH] Dial until the [1]

Indication stops flashing.

To Resume Automatic Adjustment

Turn the [PUSH] Dial until the [AWB] Indication is displayed. Or, press the [AUTO/MANUAL] Button to display the [AUTO] Indication.
