The RS-232 port provides for initial configuration of the Model SN4900 series. The RS-232 port supports:

Asynchronous data rate of 9600 bps, 2 bits, no parity, 1 stop bit, no flow control

A management interface (such as HyperTerminal) that supports VT-100 terminals
