3. In the Local Area Connection Properties dialog box, double-click the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) listing. The Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
Properties dialog box appears.

By default, the properties are set to “Obtain an IP address automatically” and “Obtain DNS server address automatically.”
4. Click “Use the following IP address,” and then complete the following steps:
a. Enter the IP address of the VMX300(-E) workstation.
b. Enter the subnet mask address.
c. If applicable, enter the default gateway address, and the preferred and alternate DNS server addresses; otherwise, skip this step and
proceed to step 5.
5. Click OK to close the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties dialog box, and then click OK to close the Local Area Connection Properties dialog
box.
6. Close the Network Connections window by clicking the X in the upper right-hand corner of the window.
NOTE:
You must assign a unique IP address to each VMX300(-E) workstation in your system.
