2. Connect either end of the enclosed STRAIGHT cable to the connector labeled I/O RS422 on the DVR5300 rear panel. The STRAIGHT cable is
6 feet (1.8 m) and has a black STRAIGHT label.
NOTES:
•Do not use the REVERSE cable that is included with the CM9760-CDU-T to connect the CDU to the DVR5300.
• To create your own cable, refer to TableC and Figure 24 for the RJ-45 pin assignments for both the DVR5300 and the CM9760-CDU-T.
The maximum cable length from the DVR5300 to the CDU is 4,000 feet (1,219 m).
