The unit alarm stops and drive initialization begins. Drive initialization can take up to 15 hours. During initialization, the drive status

indicator flashes red.

• The unit continues recording properly during hard drive initialization.

• Monitor the unit status indicator lights regularly to make sure that all drives are operating properly. In case of f ailure, system alarms

and error messages will also display on WS5000 Endura workstations and VCD5000 video console displays.
