Currenttape position
Thepart of the tape currently being played.
External source
Adevice connected via a socket (e.g.: scart socket) which
transmitsaudio/video signals to the TV-Video Combi.
Index code
Acode which is automatically recorded on the tape at the
beginningof every recording. This code (recording ID) can be
searchedfor with the Index search function.
Scart cable
Alsoknown as a Euro-AV cable. This standard cable is an
easymethod of connecting various audio and video devices,
computersand televisions. Other signals in addition to audio
andvideo signals can be transmitted on it.
TV system
Thereare various systems for transmitting television signals,
forexample, PAL, SECAM, PAL BG, SECAM DK, SECAM L/L,
NTSC,...The system used by your television depends on which
countryyou are in.
OTR
Onetouch recording (recording using one button). This
functionenables you to select the switch-off time in intervals
of30 minutes.
TXT, TELETEXT
Alsoknown as Fasttext, Videotext, FLOF,...
Standby
Standbyis an operating mode which you can activate by
pressingthe STANDBYmbutton (remote control) or the m
button(front of machine) of your TV-Video Combi.
Inorder to recognise this operating mode, the red standby
lamp(STANDBY 5) at the front of the set will be alight.
Preprogrammedrecordings are possible.
Inorder to switch the TV-Video Combi back on, select a TV
channelusing the buttons 0..9 ,;Pqor =Pronthe
remotecontrol or the buttons qor ron the front of the
machine.
OSD
TheOSD (On Screen Display)feature displays information
regardingcounter, programme number, operating mode
(record,play,…) on the screen. The OSD also provides
increasedease of use via screen menus.
