12 Automatic Channel Programming
Programming Channels
Although your VCR may automatically memorize the channels you receive when you turn it on for the first time, this function lets you reprogram channels. Make each entry within one minute of the previous entry.

Press the VCR button, then press the MENU button to
bring up the main menu display.

Press the Number 3 button to select TUNER SET UP.

Press the Number 1 button to select TV (if you have an antenna) or the Number 2 button to select CABLE TV (if you have a cable connection). (ON) will appear to the right of your selection.

Press the Number 3 button to select AUTO PROGRAM- MING. AUTO SET PROCEEDING/PLEASE WAIT and a scale that shows the progress of programming will appear

Wait for a few minutes while the VCR programs chan- nels. When programming is complete, AUTO SET COMPLETED will appear
5Wait for the VCR to program channels.

Helpful Hints
•If the channel you select has no broadcast, the screen will be solid blue. The screen will remain blue until you select an active channel.
•Line Input mode will always be stored in the VCR’s memory as channel 00. When you press Number buttons 00, A/V IN will appear
