Switching the speaker impedance

Checking your system settings

• Default setting: Speaker 6

We recommend using speakers of 6to 16with this system, but it is possible to switch the impedance setting if you plan to use speakers with a lower impedance rating (for example, less than 6).

• With the receiver in standby, press

Speaker 4– Use this setting if your speakers are rated lower than 6.

Speaker 6– Use this setting if your speakers are rated 6or more.

Note

If you select Speaker 4above, the Stream Direct setting is fixed at SD:1 NORMAL (see Using the Stream Direct mode on page 47).

These appear on both the OSD and the front panel display.
