Informationdisplay 1 lets you use the search
functionto specify a title or chapterto search
fora desired scene, use the time search func-
tionto specify a time to search for a desired
scene,select the desired audio and subtitle
language,and select the angle.
Inaddition to the search and time search
functionsof the information display 1, infor-
mationdisplay 2 lets you select the range for
repeatplay.

tingswith either the information display 1 or
2.This manual explains how to use the infor-
mationdisplay 1 to perform title, chapter and
timesettings.

Searchingfor a desired scene,

starting playback from a

specified time

Youcan use the search function to search for
adesired scene by specifying a title or chapter,
andthe time search function to specif y the
timeon a disc at which play starts.
1 Movethe joystick left or right to select
adesired option.
Theselected option is highlighted.
2 Press010 to input the desired number.
Fortitles and chapters
!Toselect 3, press 3.
!Toselect 10, press 1and 0in order.
!Toselect 23, press 2and 3in order.
Tojump 10 titles or chapters ahead of
theselected one, press 10.
Fortime (time search)
!Toselect 21 minutes 43 seconds, press 2,1,
4and3in order.
!Toselect 1 hour 11 minutes, convert the
timeinto 71 minutes 00 seconds and press
buttons7,1,0and 0in order.
Tojump 10 seconds ahead of the se-
lectedtime, press 10.
#PressingCcancels the input number.
#Youcan also select titles and chapters by mov-
ingthe joystick up or down.
3 Whilethe input number is displayed,
clickthe joystick.
Thisstarts playback from the selected scene.
#Ifyou do not click the joystick within about
eightseconds, the input number is cancelled.

!Withdiscs featuring a menu, you can also
pressMENU or TOP MENU and then make
selectionsfrom the displayed menu.
!Withsome discs, the icon maybe dis-
played,indicating that titles, chapters and
timecannot be specified.
