Lige som alle andre elektroniske enheder skal Polar M400 holdes ren og behandles med omhu. Anvisningerne herunder vil hjælpe dig med at overholde garantiforpligtelserne, holde enheden i den bedste tilstand og undgå problemer under opladning eller synkronisering.

Hold enheden ren

•Du kan vaske enheden med en mild opløsning af vand og sæbe under rindende vand. Benyt ikke sprit eller slibende materiale, som f.eks. ståluld eller rensekemikalier.

•Hvis du ikke har enheden på 24/7, bør du tørre evt. fugt af, inden du lægger den væk. Den må ikke opbevares i lufttæt materiale eller i fugtige omgivelser, f.eks. en plastikpose eller en fugtig sportstaske.

Hold enhedens USB-port ren for at sikre en problemfri opladning og synkronisering

•Åbn USB-portens dæksel og skyl USB-porten med lunkent vand efter hvert træningspas. Når den er skyllet, skal dækslet stå åbent et stykke tid, så USB-porten kan tørre. Oplad ikke enheden, når

USB-porten er våd.

•Hold USB-portens dæksel lukket, når du ikke oplader eller synkroniserer enheden. Luk den også, når du har skyllet USB-porten, og den er tør. Når du bruger USB-porten, skal du kontrollere, at der ikke er fugt, hår, støv eller snavs på forseglingsoverfladens område. Tør forsigtigt evt. snavs af. Du kan bruge en tandstikker til at fjerne hår, støv eller andet snavs fra sendermodulets hulrum. Brug ikke skarpe red- skaber til rengøring for at undgå ridser.

Efterlad ikke enheden i meget kraftig kulde (under –10 °C/14 °F) og varme (over 50 °C/120 °F) eller i direkte sollys.

PULSMÅLER

Sendermodul: Fjern sendermodulet fra stroppen, og tør sendermodulet med et blødt håndklæde, hver gang du har brugt det. Rengør om nødvendigt sendermodulet med en mild sæbeopløsning. Benyt aldrig sprit eller slibende materiale (f.eks. ståluld eller rensekemikalier).

Strop: Skyl stroppen under rindende vand, hver gang du har brugt den, og hæng den til tørre. Rengør om nødvendigt stroppen forsigtigt med en mild sæbeopløsning. Brug ikke fugtgivende sæber, da de kan efterlade rester på stroppen. Stroppen må ikke lægges i blød, stryges, renses kemisk eller afbleges. Stroppen må ikke strækkes ud, og elektrodeområderne må ikke bøjes kraftigt.
