OwnIndexvalues, including the dates. On average,
ittakes six weeks of regular training to improve
youraerobic fitness noticeably. To improve your
aerobicfitness most efficiently, you need to train
largemuscle groups.
1. SelectUP/DOWN >Test >Trend.
2. YourOwnIndex result bars and date of the
latesttest are displayed. Press UP/DOWN to
viewthe previous OwnIndex results.
DeleteOwnIndex Values
1. Selectthe value you wish to delete.
2. Pressand hold the LIGHT button.
3. Deletevalue? No/Yes is displayed. Confirm
yourselection with the RED button.
PredictedMaximum Heart Rate (HRmax-p)
TheHRmax-p definition can be set to be performed
simultaneouslywith the Polar Fitness Test. It
predictsyour individual maximum heart rate value
moreaccurately than the age-based calculation
(220- age), which provides only a rough
estimationand may not be accurate. The most
accurateway to determine your maximum heart
rateis to have it measured in a laboratory by a
doctoror an exercise physiologist.
Setthe HRmax-p on by selecting UP/DOWN > Test
>HRmax-p>On.
