Wear the Polar S1 foot pod*• TheS1 foot pod has to be activated from the
trainingcomputer before it can be used:
UP/DOWN>Settings >Features >S sensor
>Footpod.
• Installa battery before using the foot pod for the
firsttime. For instructions, see the Polar S1 foot
poduser manual.
• Toimprove the accuracy of speed/pace and
distancemeasurements, calibrate the foot pod.

DuringTraining
• Ifyou have turned on the Help function,
Footpodsignal found and a symbol X are
displayedafter turning the foot pod on.
• IfCheck Footpod! is displayed, the
trainingcomputer is unable to receive a
signalfrom the foot pod.
• Changethe battery if the green light on
thefoot pod turns red.
