Formula di Karvonen: Formula di frequenza cardiaca sotto sforzo calcolata aggiungendo una data percentuale di frequenza alla frequenza a riposo. Questo metodo consente di ottenere una frequenza equivalente alla percentuale desiderata di VO2max (massimo consumo di ossigeno).

Frequenza cardiaca (HR = Heart Rate): Il numero di battiti cardiaci al minuto (bpm)

Frequenza cardiaca di riserva: HRreserve = HRmax - HRrest

FULL: Viene visualizzato dopo aver registrato 43 tempi di frazione durante il monitoraggio della frequenza cardiaca oppure 28 intervalli durante l’Interval Training. Quando compare FULL, i tempi di frazione possono essere visti nel quadrante, ma non memorizzati nel Polar Coach.

Graphic bar: La barra grafica è composta da cinque blocchetti ed indica la regolazione delle funzioni “orologio” o “monitoraggio della frequenza cardiaca” o “interval training”. Un blocchetto intermittente significa che è in corso di programmazione la variabile corrispondente.

HRmax : Frequenza cardiaca massima

HRrest : Frequenza cardiaca a riposo

Int: Interval Training

LAP: nelle funzioni MEASURE e FILE, associato a un numero, indica quante frazioni d’allenamento sono state effettuate.

Lap and Split Times: Tempi di frazione e progressivi relativi alle singole frazioni.

LAST: Compare all’inizio dell’ultima ripetizione..

LIM1 / LIM2 / LIM3: Limiti di Frequenza Cardiaca per le Target Zone 1, 2 e 3

Limiti di Target Zone: i limiti di Target Zone sono determinati secondo la formula di Karvonen o come percentuali della frequenza cardiaca massima. Le percentuali sono convertite in frequenza cardiaca sotto forma di battiti per minuto.

Lower Limit: Limite inferiore della Target Zone.

MAX: Insieme con un numero, indica la frequenza cardiaca massima.

MEASURE: Funzione nella quale è possibile sia il normale monitoraggio della frequenza cardiaca, sia l’Interval Training.

Polar Heart Touch: durante la rilevazione della frequenza cardiaca avvicinare per alcuni secondi il ricevitore da polso al logo Polar del Trasmettitore Codificato Polar.
