Navigating Menus and Entering Data

To help you navigate menus and enter data, use these tips:

Note	After 20 seconds of inactivity, the menu system automatically exits to the idle
	screen unless an edit session is in progress.

•To scroll through lists, use and , or hold down and .

•Press the * key to page up. Press the # key to page down. Use these shortcuts when lists appear on more than one page.

•To exit from any menu, press .

•To return to the previous menu, press the Back soft key.

•To cancel the current edit session, press the Cancel soft key.

•To delete text, press the << soft key.

•To view additional soft keys, press the More soft key.

•To select a value from a list, use and .

•Use the dial pad keys to navigate through and make selections in numbered menu lists.

•The navigation guide on right-hand side of the screen shows which arrow keys can be used at a particular sublevel.
